Bio:

Carol Windy Malaga is originally from Iquitos, Peru (middle of the Amazon jungle) and has lived in San Juan, Puerto Rico for over 35 years. She grew up in the real estate industry as the only daughter of the owners of Piramide Real Estate, one of the top real estate companies on the Island. Her interest for how well-developed communities impact the economic growth of a population, led her to obtain a BA in Economics and a minor in public policy from the University of Chicago.
After returning to Puerto Rico she joined the family business as the top producer for the West side of the Island. She spent 5 years as a real estate agent getting to know the ins and outs of the business from the ground level. Windy, as she is known by most, loves to help homeowners navigate thru the process of selling their home, particularly the complexities of pricing a property in Puerto Rico. Her knowledge in statistics and economics, led her to become an advocate for the MLS, participating in the creation of the first MLS designed for Puerto Rico
She is currently the sales manager for the firm and manages a team of 6 agents and has almost 20 years of experience working with REO assets from eviction to closing. She is SFR® certified and is recognized as one of the foremost experts in the industry on the Island, helping her firm manage listings from FNMA, FMAC, LRES, Citibank and many other.
